Additional information

<20> This paper presents an evolved version of the concept of technological frames (TF), originally discussed by Abdelnour-Nocera, et al in 2007. This version of TF includes dimensions of analysis (layers) as proposed by Pellegrino (2005). This approach was used in earlier stages of the VeSeL project to identify the initial challenges faced in this multidisciplinary and multicultural project. This analysis led us to produce and mature the STE Matrix presented in REF Output 1. The objective was to make key cultural and disciplinary knowledge visible to all stakeholders in ways that could be translated into requirements, designs and prototypes.
