Dr Andrew Grace has been a member of the Department of Biochemistry as a BHF Clinical Scientist Fellow (1990-97), a BHF Senior Research Fellow (1997-2002) and, since 2002, as an Honorary Member of Biochemistry. He has been employed since 2002 as a consultant cardiologist at Papworth NHS Foundation Trust. Grace maintains a grant-funded research laboratory in Biochemistry, where he carries out all of his pre-clinical research.
