Resource use overlap between urban carnivores: Implications for endangered San Joaquin kit foxes (Vulpes macrotis mutica)
Contribution statement: This paper represents a significant contribution to wildlife conservation, disease transmission, and urban wildlife management and has contributed to the US Fish & Wildlife Service Five-Year Recovery Strategy for the Central Valley of California. The co-submitters contributed in significantly diverse ways. Harrison specialises in wildlife disease transmission risks (evidenced by FP7 grant RE533: MC IRG276754/Investigation of immune gene diversity). Harrison led the study and manuscript production, with an emphasis on the aspects associated with the potential disease risks. Bremner-Harrison specialises in wildlife behaviour (evidenced by remaining three outputs), designed the behavioural methodology and contributed to the behavioural analysis and discussion.
