<23> This paper presents a software tool to calculate a novel colocalization metric, a protocol for its use, and associated good practice guidelines. The software has been publically released by the University’s Centre for Plant Integrative Biology, and to date has been downloaded more than 900 times. The paper was published in Nature Protocols, which has a 5-year impact factor of 11.74, and was selected to be published as an open access article. The work was described as "excellent" on Zeiss’ Education in Microscopy and Digital Imaging website, and selected as paper-of-the-month by The Illuminated Plant Cell in April 2008.
