Dr Christie is a consultant clinical psychologist and honorary reader in paediatric and adolescent psychology in the Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care. Her expertise is in childhood obesity, and she works in close collaboration with the Cancer Research UK Health Behaviour Research Unit (directed by Professor Jane Wardle) in the Research Department of Epidemiology and Public Health. She holds NIHR – HTA grants as PI, and also carries out collaborative research with the General & Adolescent Paediatrics Unit at the UCL Institute of Child Health.

Professor Cole is MRC external staff, and has worked within the MRC Centre for Epidemiology for Child Health in the Paediatric Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit at UCL Institute of Child Health since 1999. His work is completely integrated with Category A staff in the Paediatric Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit, with many collaborative projects on human growth, child obesity interventions and forensic age assessment.

Professor Fenton has been an honorary professor in the Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care at UCL since 2007. He was appointed Director of Health and Wellbeing at Public Health England in November 2012, having previously worked as Director of the National Centre for HIV/AIDS at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA. Before this, he was a senior lecturer in the Centre for Sexual Health and HIV (part of the Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care) at UCL. He continues to collaborate extensively with the HIV/AIDS research group at UCL, is a co-applicant on grants, and a co-author on many papers.
