Significance of output:

This paper is part of the OECD work on green growth and development policy which identifies adaptation and building resilience to climate change as a key area for cross-sector, multi-level action. This global coastal city risk analysis demonstrates why different types of actors (national and urban governments, businesses, CSOs and development finance providers) will need to work together to adapt to climate change. For the OECD it provides evidence about the risks and costs of failing to adapt in a timely and pro-active manner (contact Jan Corfee-Morlot: Jan.CORFEE-MORLOT@oecd.org)
