Additional information

<16>This paper presents an innovative approach to ontology matching, Scarlet, which exploits online semantic data as a source of background knowledge. The influence of Scarlet can be evidenced by the high citation count of the related papers and its mention as a ""recent advance"" in Shvaiko's overview (IEEE TKDE 2013). Scarlet has formed the basis for new approaches to ontology matching (Po), ontology evolution (Zablith) and word sense disambiguation (Gracia). Scarlet also had a profound effect on the OAEI international benchmark which, following its participation to the competition, was extended to cover the greater variety of relations it can generate.
