Brill's Companion to Ancient Macedon

Lane Fox wrote five of the 28 chapters, covering pp. 1-34, 209-34, 257-70, 367-92, 495-520. He assembled the team of contributors for the volume, including many leading Greek archaeologists, and persuaded them to publish new archaeological research on Philip II's palace complex at Aegae which is the basis for new research into the nature of Macedonian kingship in other chapters in the volume. He also arranged for the translation of their chapters into English, and was responsible for the arrangement and editing of the whole volume.
