Significance of output:

This paper presents for the 1st time the successful preparation of p-type Bismuth Telluride nanowire arrays by combining electrodeposition with ion-track lithography technology. The nanostructuring of thermocouple elements can improve the figure of merit of thermoelectric films beyond the fundamental value of the material, so providing the potential for increased device performance in areas such as thermal management and energy harvesting.
