Hybrid fuzzy skyhook surface control using multi-objective micro-genetic algorithm for semi-active vehicle suspension system ride comfort stability analysis
This work proposed a novel control method (PSFαSMC) to enhance ride comfort utilising polynomial function supervising fuzzy control and sliding mode control. The multi-objective micro-genetic algorithm is utilised to determine the controller's parameter alignment in a training process with three ride comfort objectives. Numerical results show that this hybrid control method can provide real-time enhanced level of reliable ride comfort performance for semi-active suspension system. This work has resulted in a funded national Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) grant and a KTP rehabilitation exoskeleton project, with a total 130,000GBP, which indicate the international importance of this work.
