Jameson won the 2011 Chartered Management Institute Award for Leadership and Management Achievement and was shortlisted for the CMI Outstanding Leadership Award, based on insights from her three University of Lancaster/ CEL funded research projects, including Trust and Leadership research reported in this paper. The article considers issues of trust, power and displaced dissent in post-compulsory education, providing snapshots of participant views recorded in 28 interviews and 242 electronic survey responses in 2004-09. The theme of the DPR9 Trust conference at Greenwich, involving 130 participants from 33 countries, emerged from the research conference presentation and DPR9 book chapter on Trust.
