Additional information

This paper presents a novel formulation of state-space canonical variate analysis (CVA) models (using three parameter matrices instead of five) in models which were developed for the specific purpose of process condition monitoring. The method is shown to be computationally very efficient yet gives comparable or better fault detection performance than the conventional CVA based process monitoring approaches.
