Double-weighted statement

Time, Space and Power is a substancial monograph based on a wide and extensive range of primary sources and appropriate secondary sources. Considerable archival research has been conducted, particularly in The National Archives and the Bristol Record Office. It is structured around a number of themes, including memory, trade, power, contacts beyond the city, local politics and relations with the Crown. It is fully and extensively referenced and certainly extends current knowledge of the economic, social and political history of Bristol in the later medieval period.
