First publication resulting from new collaboration with University of Ioannina (UOI), Greece, announcing a new technique for photonic manipulation of metal inclusions in a thin film. This work resulted in a UK published patent, GB2493698 (A) ‘Surface Plasmon Resonance in Thin Films’, which is currently being evaluated for exploitation by potential industrial collaborators in hard coatings and security applications.
