Chapters 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,7, 8, and 10, have been extensively rewritten in order to turn individual pieces of research into a coherent book. However, if each chapter is considered as a separate piece of research, there may not be sufficient new material to justify the submission of these chapters. But taken as a book they do represent something new.
Chapters 1, 9, 11, and 12 were published for the first time between 1st January 2008 and 31st December 2013. If each chapter is to be treated as a separate entry, then only these chapters are eligible for consideration.
