Additional information

This paper presents and validates a new design of plug flow reactor for continuous, dynamic, mesoscale screening of two phase liquid systems at very low flow rates. A high degree of plug flow is demonstrated experimentally via continuous steady state and dynamic screening. The reactor produces repeatable results with significantly reduced volumes of reagents required and waste generated, and with operating times reduced by up to 90%, demonstrating the value of the reactor in screening and optimisation.
