Additional information

<13> This paper introduces a general framework for discriminating signal components produced by phenomena of different natures. It was developed in EPSRC project EP/D062632/1. It has generated a number of numerical methods for applications including cancellation of infra-gravity waves in seismic signals and elimination of interference in the form of horizontal/vertical lines from images/videos. The routines for implementation of the algorithms are available on the website http://www.nonlinear-approx.info/code/. From Sept 2011 to 27 May 2013 the routines were downloaded 375 times.
