Significance of output:

This is the first paper that models factors associated with early stages in lymphatic development. This is important since it aids understanding of immune response and contributes to cancer treatment modalities. Within 2 months of this paper being published online I was invited to speak at the Gordon Conference for Porous Media Flows. In addition this paper has led me to collaborate with Professor Swartz's group in EPFL who are leading experimentalists in lymphatic development and immunity response in cancer.
