This paper made a major contribution to evaluation of workspaces, including advice to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport on impact of art on wellbeing in the workplace. The paper contributed to the Leesman Index ‘impact of the built environment on effectiveness’ http://leesmanindex.com/ and was referenced by Zurich Insurance. Co-author Thomas founded the Performance Consultancy (http://performanceconsultancy.co.uk) has, by invitation, disseminated findings through organisations such as Constructing Excellence (http://londoncec.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/october-event-are-you-getting-what-you_10.html), and is pursuing two related projects with Zurich Insurance. The research was supported by a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP004067) and nominated for an award by Momenta.
