Additional information

This book is a single authored monograph by Parry that incorporates images taken by the artist Ania Dabrowska for the Wellcome Trust funded exhibition ‘Mind Over Matter: Memory, Forgetting and the Search for a Cure for Dementia”. The exhibition, which included photographic images, sound and video installations and found objects was mounted at Shoreditch Town Hall in October 20111 and attracted over 1,000 visitors in 12 days. This book offers an analysis of some of the key sociological and anthropological issues related to memory loss and brain donation and provides a lasting archival record of the exhibition.
