Additional information

Automobile side slip angle sensors are too expensive to be implemented in mass production cars. For example, the cost of the Corsys-Datron sensor is over 30000 USD (http://www.corrsys-datron.com/index.htm). This collaborative work with the University of Tokyo led to the development of an alternative virtual measurement method which eliminated the Beta sensor and hence reduced the overall cost.
