Additional information

This work also arose from the EU Framework project DVT-IMP (FP6-2005-IST-5-034256) coordinated by Ali. The method of immobilisation of Ab receptor for D-Dimer using a functionalised conducting polymer is being commercialised for POC diagnostics for DVT and PE through a university spin-out, Anasyst (www.anasyst.com), contact Chairman Dr Roger Duggan (R.Duggan@anasyt.com). The developed approach is also more broadly applicable for label-free detection of a variety of ligand receptor assays with application for clinical diagnostics.
