<11> The Alldifferent constraint was the first global constraint and arguably the most used constraint in CP. This paper introduces a much needed extension to this constraint, which is useful when modeling real world constraints. This paper is the first result of a large international partnership between Dundee, St Andrews & Oxford, UK and Brown University, USA. This paper has been of great interest to IBM, who head hunted one of the authors on the back of this work. IBM are now funding this ongoing collaboration.
