Optimal probability density function control for NARMAX stochastic systems
This paper, published in a leading control theory and application journal, presents a new unified theoretical framework for controlling the probability density function (pdf) of nonlinear stochastic systems. It also provides a new design tool for general modelling, data reduction and filtering for non-Gaussian systems. This work has been developed by several research groups in China in modelling and control design for stochastic systems (DOI:10.1016/j.probengmech.2012.03.002) and the optimization of a mineral processing plant DOI:10.1016/j.mineng.2011.09.012) and in Turkey in pdf estimation (DOI: 10.1142/S0218127412501076).
