Closed-form analytical expressions are presented for the spectral response of heterojunction phototransistors (HPTs) in this leading journal. The results are the subject of an EPSRC proposal currently being developed with Sheffield (contact details available) and Surrey (contact details available) Universities. In addition the work has resulted in academic collaboration with Lahore University of Science and Management in Pakistan, underpinned by hosting an academic visitor (name and contact details are available).
