Additional information

This paper presents a design method for a class of nonlinear systems in the so-called normal form to achieve output regulation when there exist nonlinear exosystems (nonlinear disturbances). It is the first result for such a class of the system, and it may have applications in communication systems and synchronisation of nonlinear systems. This result has been followed by several research groups in e.g. China (doi:10.1002/asjc.193, doi:10.1007/s12555-011-0175-6, doi:10.1109/TCSII.2012.2204844) and Malaysia (doi:10.1109/ICCSCE.2011.6190576).
