Additional information
This work addressed fundamental issues associated with modelling the performance of a real time magnetic field imaging camera. The work confirmed that a solid-state device could be constructed to image ferrous objects embedded in concrete and other media. It was the first in a series of three IEEE transactions papers that led to a commercial R&D collaboration with Genesis Oil and Gas Ltd, involving the establishment of a dedicated laboratory within the School (contact details available, www.genesisoilandgas.com).
