Additional information

<28> Published in a journal ranked 2nd (out of 47) in Mathematical & Computational Biology according to ISI Web of Knowledge, the work is significant as it contributes to solving a central problem in laboratory biology: the reproducibility of results between those previously obtained in one’s own laboratory and those reported in the scientific literature. The paper makes the use of more formal methods to record experimental protocols, and we are currently working with the biomedical community to agree protocol standards that integrate EXACT. Occams resources, a leading lab management software producer, has recently funded further development of EXACT.
