Additional information

Not a review paper, but the culmination of an in-depth research programme (EPSRC project “Engineering the Green State of Powder Materials”, GR/S70937/01 collaborative with 5 other research groups and 17 industrial sponsors). It tested all established and some novel methods (introduced by Kulkarni and Bradley) for measuring powder behaviour in the powder metallurgy industries, the relationship between them and the meaning of the measurements to the real manufacturing processes. It gave recommendations for use of measurement techniques for this industry sector. The most downloaded paper of the year in the Journal, and one of the ten most downloaded of all IMechE proceedings. Researcher was PI.
