<12>The Open PHACTS Discovery Platform was released in April 2013 and by October 2013 had received 3M hits. There is interest in the platform from both academia and industry with over 50 associated partners (http://www.openphacts.org/partners/associated-partners). The Open PHACTS foundation was launched to sustain the platform (http://www.openphactsfoundation.org/); to which pharmaceutical companies are signing up. Gray is an invited expert into the W3C HCLS SIG discussing dataset descriptions (http://www.w3.org/blog/hcls/) and building on the Open PHACTS approach. Harland gave an invited keynote on the platform at EKAW 2012.
