Additional information

<09>Multi agent systems are well-researched but often only employed in specialised situations or small case studies. This paper is significant in that it aims to make MAS development more mainstream in applying it to any business system. In the approach, requirements for software systems are treated as part of the ‘environment’ of the agents. Thus software can be enabled with sensors that pick up changes in the environment (requirements) and then adjust the software appropriately. The originality is in agents reacting to changes in the environment and the use of business rules to reconfigure software including its architecture.
