Biaxial Deformation and Experimental Study of PET at Conditions Applicable to Stretch Blow Molding
It is the first paper to present experimental material characterisation data at industrially relevant conditions (i.e. appropriate strain rate). The work has resulted in collaboration with Université Paris-Est where the data has been the foundation for the development of a new mathematical model for PET (Verifiable contact: Prof. Luc Chevalier, University of Paris Est). The work has also attracted interest from Nestle and P&G who have funded research and short term studies to replicated and develop the tests performed in this paper.(verifiable contacts: Jim Shepherd (P&G), Guillaume Chauvin(Nestle)
