Contemporary European Theatre Directors, co-edited with Dan Rebellato, is a 20-chapter peer reviewed volume examining key developments in directors' theatre across Europe's landscape through discussion of the productions and practices of 18 directors. Delgado and Rebellato shared responsibility for the shaping and organisation of the volume, the commissioning of chapters and the curating and mentoring of all the authors. Delgado wrote the 9,200-word introduction with input from Rebellato, authored a 7,000-word chapter and conducted and framed a 5,700-word interview with Peter Sellars.
