Double-weighted statement

This research monograph draws on extensive research, conducted from 2000-7, involving detailed analysis of policy and loan documents; over 50 stakeholder interviews; three periods of extended fieldwork in Ecuador and Argentina and a close analysis of a wide range of secondary literatures. While its time-consuming, rigorous methodological approach (which tracked gender lending from head office policy texts, to regional policy frames, to micro-loans in the Andes and Buenos Aires), has established it as a primary point of reference for those interested in sexuality and development, the book also makes a significant contribution to a range of other critical literatures.
