This work highlights a novel amphiphilic polymer formulation of BNIPDaoct against pancreatic cancer. This resulted in patent protection both in the EU and USA (EU Patent EP2473158 & USA Patent US2012238487). The data resulted in invitation to present at both national (UKICRS annual symposium, British Pharmaceutical Conference) and international (Controlled Release Society Conference) conferences. This work attracted new collaborators (O’Driscoll group in Cork, Yang group in China) and influenced subsequent studies along with other groups including the ‘Cheng group’ in Hertfordshire, the ‘Ali group’ in France &Portugal and the ‘Duthie group’ in Aberdeen.
