Additional information

This scientific study is closely related to a dramatic reduction of SIFT-MS instrumentation in size and weight that allows its location at the point of need. The results demonstrate that the new generation of instrument has even better performance than its predecessors and that accurate trace gas quantification can be achieved obviating routine calibration using standard mixtures, when the physical effects mentioned in the title of the paper are taken into account.
