<02>Insulating the user from the complexity of Grid middleware and Grid resources environment is a significant challenge. This paper demonstrates the technology to support the simplification of constructing Grid applications and service design for job migration to ensure timely job completion. The service is integrated with the £4M TSB (TP/2/IC/6/I/101057) BROADEN project demonstrator, and is exploited by Rolls-Royce in the domain of remote health monitoring for civil aerospace engines. It also led to follow-up EPSRC funded projects: Intelligent Scheduling for Quality of Service (EP/G054304/1), and Grid Application Performance Prediction Tool (EP/G005826/1), with support from Rolls-Royce (G.Hesketh) and HP.
