Human Rights, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in the Commonwealth: Struggles for Decriminalisation and Change
Chapter 5 of this volume includes some material published prior to 2008. As stated clearly in an 'Acknowledgement' on the first page of Chapter 5: 'sections 2-4 of the chapter are an edited reprint from sections of ch.5 'Homosexuality and the age of consent', in M. Waites, The Age of Consent: Young People, Sexuality and Citizenship (Palgrave, 2005). Within the current Chapter 5, there is new original material on pp.145-149 (section 1) and pp.168-175 (from section 5). Sections 2-4 were also substantially revised, including to address Scotland (p.152), the important theme of rights (pp.159-160), and Evans' applicability internationally (p.168)
