Additional information

Van Wyhe conceptualised and edited the volume, selecting the best papers from a two-day conference, which she organised, featuring scholars from the UK, US, Austria, France, Australia, and Canada, and from the disciplines of art history, history, musicology and Spanish literature. Following the conference, van Wyhe assisted authors to re-shape their contributions and also commissioned new essays, for example providing chapters on less-researched areas such as the experience of female religious in early modern Germany. Van Wyhe single-authored a chapter (pp. 173-210) and the introduction (pp. 1-10).
