Additional information

This new technique for in-process monitoring of the viscosity and elasticity of fluids and gels has been implemented at the National Physical Laboratory to study the gelation of hydrogels used in cell culture (Nilofar.Faruqui@npl.co.uk). It has relevance for monitoring the kinetics of formation of hydrogel carriers of cells for therapy ( Richard Archer, Chair of BioIndustry Association RegenMed Industry Group, Richard.Archer@twobc.co.uk).
