A comparison study of electrodes for neonate electrical impedance tomography
<26>Electrode impedance is one of the many critical parameters contributing to the practical implementation of algorithms for Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) reconstruction. This article presents experimental work to determine an optimum electrode specifically for the specialist requirements of preterm neonate lung function imaging. It defined a critical feature of a system for continuous monitoring of lung gestation in future clinical practice. Funded by EPSRC in collaboration with University College London, City University, London and the world-leading Great Ormond Street Hospital. PhD Student: Dr J. M. Khor. Physiological Measurements is lead journal for the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine.
