Additional information

Conversations with Angels: Essays Towards a History of Spiritual Communication, 1100-1700: Raymond co-organised a conference on this theme in 2005, and was sole editor of this 2011 volume. In addition to the usual editorial work, he wrote the introduction (9,000 words), which contains an original overview of the historiography on angelology and relates it to medieval and early-modern periodization. He also contributed chapter 14 (11,000 words), which situates one of the case studies from Milton's Angels in a wider context and orients it towards a more general readership.
