Additional information

<07>This paper, an earlier version of which was presented at VMCAI 2011, proposes the first complete abstraction and compositional theory for systems with both non-determinism and stochastic information. It extends well known work on modal automata (Larsen 89) and probabilistic automata (Segala) to an abstraction theory with operations such as refinement and logical/structural composition. This theory has served as the basis for a new model of abstraction for stochastic systems. The work has latter been exploited by Katoen and several inspired models are currently studied by Marta Kwiatowska.
