The inverse problem of assigning natural frequencies and modes by structural modification using measured receptances is implemented and validated on an experimental rig. The research was presented in a plenary keynote paper at the 15th Asia Pacific Vibration Conference in Jeju, South Korea in June 2013 (Evidence file: Ouyang4-1).
