Lancaster carried out much of the experimental work (involving muon-spin relaxation measurements that Lancaster made at the ISIS Facility), helped analyse the results (the initial analysis was carried out by F L Pratt and Lancaster), co-wrote the initial draft of the entire paper and critically appraised later versions.
