Double-weighted statement

This extensive, annotated CUP anthology took four years of intensive research effort to complete. The work culminates in ten interpretive essays of commentary that guide the reader through the collected works that encompass 6256 separate thematised and verified entries. The product is the most comprehensive record and detailed analysis ever published of the negotiations and considerations given to critical territorial questions in the wider Gulf region in a formative period (1966-1975). Underlying research was undertaken at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office files, where material was selected, thematised, edited and then arranged into 18 volumes circa 11000 pages and 30 maps.
