Additional information

Represents the first description of a state of the art apparatus set up by the HEI to measure the speed of sound and light at the ppm level. This is one of the only five primary acoustic thermometers existing around the world. This equipment was used in a FP7 EURAMET Ref 217257 project. The research was done in Spain, with strong liaisons with leading groups in France, UK, Italy and USA.
