Additional information

This work was made possible by EPSRC funding; (EP/H005803/1) and Binions' Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowship. Paper reports the use of an innovative filtering and separation process for the detection of explosive markers. This work led to an invited talk at IMCS14 (2012, Nuremberg, Germany), amongst the most prestigious sensing conferences, and certainly the most prestigious for chemical sensors. Binions has also been invited to talk at GASG (a UK industry / academia forum). The work was supported in-kind by Silicon Labs Irish subsidiary (raymond.speer@silabs.com).
