Additional information

This paper on the effect of melting and crystallization on the conductive network formation with carbon nanomaterials has great significance for process optimisation of conductive CNT-based polymer composites. It was the result of a collaboration with the German Polymer Institute (DKI) in Darmstadt and was partly funded by the FP6-NMP project 'INTELTEX'. It led to a number of invited and keynote talks at several conferences incl. i-PolyMat 2010 (Netherlands), International Conference on Advanced Fibers and Polymer Materials (ICAFPM, Shanghai, 2010) and MACRO 2010 (Glasgow). It also led to a strategic partnership with Nanocyl S.A., Belgium (michael.claes@nanocyl.com).
