Additional information

This invited paper, on advanced turbulence models for industrial applications was undertaken in the context of the EU funded FP7 ATAAC project for which I was PI and the first author was my PDRA, and I previously co-supervised his PhD. All models are implemented in open source CFD software and used by industry. This work forms the main topic of an industrial collaboration with the commercial CFD code developers CD-adapco. Having demonstrated their effectiveness, we are now working with this partner to implement and validate both advanced models into their commercial CFD code.
